CEE visit to China
Cambridge Early Education heads to China
A long term collaboration between CEE and Tahoe has been entered into to develop a group of international & bilingual kindergartens across China. The CEE group spent a week in Beijing in meetings with key members of the Tahoe Education team which was also combined with a visit to the first newly built kindergarten.
The weeks programme included Linda and her colleague Hazel Wright delivering a training session to the newly appointed teachers and also a presentation to new parents who have enrolled at the new Kindergarten.
Linda Baston-Pitt CEO and founder of CEE said;
‘This marks the beginning of some positive and exciting collaborations. Working together with Tahoe we have the opportunity to share our expertise and joint vision to create innovative world class early years childcare in China.’
CEE is currently working in partnership with Tahoe to develop an English-Chinese Early Years curriculum so that children and families experience the best of English and Chinese educational practices.
‘It was a wonderful and insightful trip and fantastic to meet the whole Tahoe team and teaching staff as well as the parents. We are beginning to not only develop friendships but to also learn about each other’s cultures. This will be crucial aspect in developing a teaching programme that reflects the students and teacher’s needs.’
The new joint venture will see the first 3 kindergartens open over the next three years with the flagship Beijing Daxing Tahoe Central Plaza Kindergarten due to open early September 2019.
